Question by Meerkitty: What psychologically drives an individual to love fast?
What drives and individual to grow an attachment in a matter of days or weeks to an individual? To fall in love in a matter of days, or weeks, to express(mostly verbally) love, infatuation, attachment to and individual that they barely know. Are these people needy, codependent etc?

neediness, desperation and a lack of sense of self identity (some people only feel ok when half of a couple….)

None of the above. “Love at first sight” is indeed a reality. Its an immediate emotional bond. One just feels an instant connection to the other person, like you’ve known them all your life. I speak from experience, and am neither needy nor codependent. It it doesn’t take days or weeks; its almost instantaneous; just a few seconds and the rush comes over you. Its pretty neat, actually. Don’t mock what you don’t understand.
